Gaige Lage

About Me

Gaige Lage, was born on the 2nd of August 2003. He is a Junior at Trico Highschool and is very active in school activities and supporting his school. Gaige has been an active member of the Trico High School band for the past 5 years, winning the award for most improved in 2017. He also won the award for Best Drum Major during  the 2018 Murphysboro Applefest. Gaige has always been musically talented and in addition to being the Drum Major he can play every instrument in the saxophone family from soprano to baritone. Gaige has been active in the performing arts over the last 4 years, and has performed the roles of Tiny Tim in A Dickens Christmas Carol, Pinocchio in Shrek the Musical and a member of the Quartet in the Music Man. Gaige has a huge passion for music of all types but has a particular passion for singing. He has been singing and involved with music since he was just 4 years old. He began voice lessons at 6 and has had the privilege of singing the national anthem at multiple different school events over the past few years. Gaige has maintained a 4.5 GPA or higher every year throughout his school career which made him eligible for advanced math and english classes beginning in just 7th Grade.
