Taylor and Skylar did an incredible job bringing Things I Wish I Knew Yesterday to life through their presentations!
Skylar reminded us that everyone tells their own story. She challenged us to shift from a victim mindset and instead learn how to see situations from different perspectives. To drive it home, she had us play an old-school game of telephone who remembers that? It was a powerful reminder that communication can easily get twisted, and that it’s okay to be right or wrong while still being open to understanding others.
Taylor closed out the day with a question that stuck with us: What’s next? What really happens after a heated conversation? Do we assume the other person has moved on? He reminded us how easy it is to say the right thing the wrong way in the heat of the moment. His takeaway was clear—stay as calm as possible, take time to gather yourself, and be mindful not to say something you’ll regret later.
Proud of both of you for leading meaningful conversations that challenge us to think, communicate, and grow better every day. #JacksonCEO
