Our Jackson CEO students are stepping into an exciting season as they begin their individual and group presentations based on Things You Wish You Knew Yesterday by Craig Lindvahl.
No matter what career path they pursue, one thing is clear—public speaking is essential. The ability to communicate effectively will open doors and create opportunities for impact in every field.
Kyla and Steven kicked things off in a strong way!
Kyla covered “Ignorance vs. Stupidity,” sharing a personal story from her school experience. She emphasized the importance of understanding the difference between the two and challenged us to create pathways that meet people where they are—with patience and purpose.
Steven presented on “The Kitchen of Learning.” He reminded us that just like a kitchen has all the ingredients, we often have what we need—but may still require help putting it all together. He shared his experience in track, realizing that growth requires humility and the willingness to ask for help. That kind of vulnerability is not weakness—it’s empowerment.
Great job, Kyla and Steven!! We are proud of you both and excited to see what’s ahead for this group! 👏🏾🔥
