Today our Jackson CEO students had the opportunity to learn from Dr. Ryan Reed of GRO Community and what a powerful visit it was!

Before even diving into the work of GRO Community, Dr. Reed challenged our thinking about the future of careers and impact. One statement that stuck with us: “Your passion starts with your experience.”

He also broke down what he calls the 3% of the world:
1. Inventors – those who create something new
2. Re-Inventors – those who improve what already exists
3. Creators of Need – those who introduce something people didn’t even know they needed… until they can’t live without it

That perspective pushed our students to think beyond jobs—and toward purpose, innovation, and impact.

Dr. Reed then shared the heart behind GRO Community, an organization committed to providing mental health support that goes beyond simply managing symptoms. Their focus is on real healing.
