Today our Jackson CEO students had the privilege of visiting E.T. Simonds Construction Co. in Carbondale, IL — a company with deep roots and an inspiring legacy.

Led by 3rd generation leader Beck Simonds alongside two other family members, we learned how this family-owned business began with humble beginnings in 1946, founded by Eugene and Emma Simonds From laying the foundation of the Coca-Cola building in DuQuoin, IL, to shaping properties all across Southern Illinois, their impact runs deep.

Beck walked us through the bidding process, the wide range of services they provide, and shared incredible videos of past and current projects that continue to build on their family’s strong foundation.
