Meet Our Facilitator

Jenna Jamieson

Jenna Jamieson

Jenna Jamieson has a passion for community development and engagement.  As an avid volunteer, she loves helping at events in southern Illinois communities.  While her passion is inspiring and motivating youth to reach their full potential, you can also find her giving back.  Most recently, Jenna started her Backpacks for Success drive where she collects backpacks to give to elementary and secondary students.  She has written and been awarded several grants because of her active involvement in providing backpacks to area youth.

Jenna is a certified teacher at Carbondale Community High School where she teaches consumer education to sophomores and juniors.  She also works as a Nutrition & Health Consultant at SuCasa Education where she provides guidance to early childhood students and their parents on ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle.  Jenna recently published a book, Giving Back, that details her love for teaching and how volunteering helps maintain a happy and healthy life. When she isn't teaching or volunteering, she loves to travel as much as she can.

She is a graduate of Carbondale Community High School and SIU Carbondale.  She received her bachelor's degree in Financial Economics and her master's degree in Public Health. Jenna looks forward to her new adventure as the Jackson CEO Facilitator.  She hopes to expand the knowledge that youth have about the wonderful businesses and leaders in Jackson County and the southern Illinois region.

If you have questions about Jackson CEO, Jenna can be reached through the Contact Us page or by email at facilitator@jacksonceo.org.
